Choose Hope

— Supporting Families Through Substance Use

Families affected by a loved one's substance use deserve care too. That's the heart of Choose Hope — and why I'm proud to be affiliated with Not My Child, Inc.

What is Choose Hope?

Choose Hope is Not My Child's family support and education program designed for loved ones navigating the challenges of someone they care about struggling with substance use. It offers a safe, judgment-free space where families can find understanding, connection, and real guidance.

Through support groups, workshops, and grief-informed discussions, Choose Hope helps families build healthier communication, strengthen boundaries, process loss, and develop lasting emotional resilience. The program also provides grief support for those who have lost a loved one to substance-related causes — a place for healing, remembrance, and hope.

All sessions are confidential, community-based, and facilitated with empathy and respect.

My Connection to This Work

As a licensed clinician and the primary clinician at Refined Wellness, I work with individuals and families navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, and the emotional weight of loving someone in active addiction. My affiliation with Not My Child's Choose Hope program is a natural extension of that work — bringing clinical support alongside community connection.

If you're a family member who feels lost, exhausted, or unsure where to turn, you are not alone — and you deserve support.
