No therapeutic relationship. Visiting this website, reading its content, downloading resources, completing a self-assessment, or sending a message does not create a therapist-client relationship. A professional relationship begins only after an intake process is completed and both parties have agreed to work together.

Not for emergencies. This website and its contact form are not monitored around the clock. If you are in crisis or believe you may harm yourself or someone else, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room. Do not use the contact form or email in an emergency.

Self-assessments and resources. Quizzes, assessments, guides, and blog posts, including content about burnout or other topics, are for general reflection only. They are not diagnostic tools, and results are not a clinical evaluation.

Telehealth. Telehealth services are offered to clients who are physically located in Maryland at the time of each session. Telehealth may not be appropriate for every person or situation, and suitability is determined during the intake and treatment process. Written consent for telehealth is provided separately as part of becoming a client.

Confidentiality of communications. Information sent through the contact form, email, text, or social media may not be secure or confidential. Please don't include detailed personal, medical, or sensitive information in these messages. Client communications are handled through the Therapy Notes Portal where applicable.

Licensure. Randi Welch is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) in the State of Maryland. Services are provided only to residents of, or individuals located in, Maryland, as permitted by law.
